YHWH’s Call To His Bride: Perfection
The Bride of Mashiach is called to be clothed in righteousness, holiness, and perfection. Just as Isaiah declares that Yahwah clothes His people with the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness, so too are we to prepare ourselves for the marriage supper of the Lamb. Scripture teaches that the Bride is perfected through sanctification, trials, and obedience to His Word—set apart from sin and walking in purity. This call is not one of complacency but of growth, maturity, and surrender. The Bridegroom is coming for a people without spot or blemish, who have made themselves ready. Will we be found faithful, purified, and fully devoted to Him when He returns?

Isaiah 61:10 - The Character Of The Bride

"I will greatly rejoice in Yahwah, my soul shall be joyful in my Elohim; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels."

Thoughts: The Bride of Mashiach Yahwah will be clothed in righteousness and holiness. This is YHWH's call to those who are saved, to then be sanctified. Let's look at the word "Bride."

Bride = H3618 / כַּלָּה / kallâh / kal-law' / From H3634; a bride (as if perfect); hence a son's wife: - bride, daughter-in-law, spouse. H3634 / כָּלַל / kâlal / kaw-lal' / A primitive root; to complete: - (make) perfect.

The Hebrew word for Bride literally deals with being perfect and striving towards perfection. Let's go ahead and unpack this below.

Ephesians 5:25-27 - YHWH's Call To Perfection

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Mashiach also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

Thoughts: Yahwah gave His life to us. Once saved, we are to give our lives back to Him. This is living a life that is holy and righteous. He will return for a bride with no sin or imperfection in their life. She will be holy as He is. Many say we can never achieve perfection. This in itself is giving provision to your flesh to make an excuse to sin (Romans 13:14). Do we even try? Are we willing to sell everything we have to follow Him? Are there too many things in our lives that please our flesh, which makes us want to hold onto this world instead of being joined to Him? If we love this world, we will burn with this world when it passes away.

Ephesians 4:11-16 - YHWH's Call To Grow Up

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Mashiach: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Mashiach: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Mashiach: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."

Thoughts: The assembly in the end times will be perfected and be in unity with one another. We are not to stay in the same place and get stagnant in our relationship with Yahwah. Yes, we are His children, but children do not stay children; they grow up. Are we growing in our walk with Yahwah? Do we strive each day to be more like Him, to walk after His Spirit and crucify our flesh? Is He your first love, truly? If we lost everything, would we still serve Him? Would we rather enjoy our life, or do we yearn to be in His presence while giving up our pleasures? Children are imperfect; they must be taught. By Yahwah's grace and mercy, He will teach us and correct us, but this means coming into perfection in our walk with Him.

James 1:2-4 - Trails Are For Our Perfection

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

Thoughts: The trials and temptations we go through are His way to see if we are going to grow into perfection. We must pray that when He tests us with fire, we will come through being more like Him, so that the world can see Yahwah in us. Is He the only one we want? Is He the one who gives us the most joy out of all those we can spend time with? It's our relationship with Him that will see us through the battles we face in life. He will give us the victory if we seek His strength and stay in His Word.

1 John 3:3-10 - YHWH's Call To Remove All Sin

"And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of Elohim doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of Elohim. In this the children of Elohim are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of Elohim, neither he that loveth not his brother."

Thoughts: If we abide in Him, and He in us, we will love Him by keeping His commandments (John 14:15). If we dwell with Him in prayer, He will dwell in us, and we will bear the fruit of the Spirit. He can and will perfect us if we are completely dedicated to Him and Him alone in our lives. If we are holding back and are not completely surrendered to Him and His will, then we will never be brought into perfection in obedience to His Word.

Hosea 2:19-20 - YHWH's Call To Be Bethrothed

"And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know Yahwah."

Thoughts: We can have an intimate relationship with Him that's deeper than any relationship we can have with anyone else if we put on righteousness, if we are faithful to Him, and if we're willing to sacrifice all for Him, just as He did for us. It's the most rewarding thing we could ever do. There is no one in this world who can love us and be faithful to us like He can, but it costs everything. There's a price we are to pay to have this kind of relationship with our Creator. Why? Because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).

Matthew 25:1-13 - Are We Ready To Be With Him Forever?

"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Yahwah, Yahwah, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

Thoughts: Will we be ready when our time comes? People die every day, whether they are healthy or sickly. Are we filled with His Spirit and obedient to His Word, living righteous and holy lives before Him? Are we lacking in any area? Is there something He wants us to do that we're not doing? A sacrifice He requires of us that we're not willing to make? Is it really worth losing eternal life over? We must make ourselves ready to meet our maker.

Revelation 19:6-9 - The Bride's Dress Is Righteousness

"And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for Yahwah Elohim omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim."

Thoughts: The one supper you do not want to miss is this supper. To be with Him, serving His Kingdom, as He reigns as King of kings, is my end goal. Remember He's coming back for a righteous, holy, set apart bride that has taken His Name, Yahwah, as a bride takes the Name of her husband. Hear YHWH's Call to His marriage supper for those who love Him more than life.

Isaiah 62:5 - He Rejoices Over Our Perfection

"For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy Elohim rejoice over thee."

Thoughts: I want Him to rejoice over me one day. Our life should be to please Him to do His will, to become more like Him, to draw closer to Him, to learn His ways, to keep His Word, to strive for perfection, and to be with Him forever.

We proclaim one name as given to the disciples and early assembly on the Day of Pentecost. The only Name that was prophesied in the Old Blood Covenant that will be restored in the last days, the Name of יהוה. Not jesus, or any "shua" name such as yeshua, yahshua etc. Take His Name in baptism as Peter preached in Acts chapter 2.

Malachi 1:11 "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith יהוה of hosts."
