This is a small compilation of scriptures from the Old Testament and the New Testament. We present them side by side for easy examination and reference. We know that every place in the Old Testament, or Scriptures (as it was called by the Messiah), that had the word LORD in all capital letters was put in the place of the original Hebrew name YHWH. There are many references available to support this, so we will not go into this fact now. Let's Discover the Name of YHWH in these Scriptures below.
While you read these scriptures and compare them with each other, you will find that they no longer contradict each other when you say the name YHWH instead of 'The LORD' and 'Jesus'. Please put in your mind, as you read, that "THE FATHER, THE WORD (SON) AND THE HOLY GHOST, THESE THREE ARE ONE', I JOHN 5:7. Also, YHWH said He is ONE GOD and His NAME ONE. If His name was YHWH in the Old Testament, then it was also YHWH in the New Testament. He is the same forever, as Hebrews 13:8 states.

THE NAME OF THE FATHER IS...
PSALMS 72:17-19 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and all men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
PSALM 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some trust in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
ISAIAH 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
ISAIAH 51:15 But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: LORD of hosts is his name:
ISAIAH 54:5 For thy Maker is thy husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
JEREMIAH 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
JEREMIAH 50:34 Their Redeemer is strong, the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
JEREMIAH 59:19 The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.
JEREMIAH 16:20,21 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.
AMOS 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
AMOS 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: JEREMIAH 32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosoms of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD (YHWH) of hosts, is his name:
HE CAME IN THE NAME OF...
PSALMS 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD; we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
MATTHEW 21:9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the LORD; Hosanna in the highest.
LUKE 19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory to the highest.
MARK 11:9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the LORD:
PSALMS 22:22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
HEBREWS 2:12,13 Saying, I will declare unto my brethren in the midst of the church, will I sing praise unto thee. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
(Remember that Isaiah 42:8 says that YHWH will not give His glory to another.)
HOW EXCELLENT IS THY NAME...
PSALMS 8:1,2 O, LORD, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger..
MATTHEW 21:15,16 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased, and said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea: have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
HEBREWS 1:4,5 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED YHWH...
JEREMIAH 23:5,6 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
JEREMIAH 33:15,16 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of Righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
YHWH IS ONE GOD, THE ONLY SAVIOUR...
ISAIAH 44:6 Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first and I am the last and beside me there is no God.
ISAIAH 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
ISAIAH 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first and with the last, I am he.
REVELATION 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the LORD, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
ISAIAH 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
HOW CAN SCRIPTURE SAY THE SAME THINGS ABOUT TWO DIFFERENT NAMES... DOES THAT MAKE SENSE TO YOU?
ISAIAH 45:21-23 ..Have not I the LORD? And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
PHILLIPIANS 2:5-11 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, …and gave him a name above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father.
CALL ON THE NAME...
ISAIAH 42:8 I am the LORD (YHWH): that is my name, and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
ACTS 9:14-16 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: (see Ps. 18:49) For I will shew how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
ROMANS 15:9-11 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name. (See Ps 18:49). And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
JOEL 2:32, ACTS 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
ROMANS 10:11-14 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?...
IF THE SCRIPTURE IN 1 JOHN 4:3 SAYS, "EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH NOT THAT 'JESUS' CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS NOT OF GOD: AND THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST..", THEN THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A 'JESUS' IN THE SPIRIT THAT PEOPLE WERE FAMILIAR WITH AND EXPECTING TO COME IN THE FLESH, BUT THE ENTIRE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHESIES THAT YHWH WOULD COME IN THE FLESH AS THE MESSIAH, BECAUSE HE IS A SPIRIT. THEREFORE, THE FIRST ABOVE ASSUMPTION DOES NOT EVEN MAKE SENSE. (Also see 2 John 1:7).
HIS NAME FOREVER...
PSALMS 61:8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
PSALMS 72:17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
PSALMS 72:19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
PSALMS 135:13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
EXODUS 9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up for to shew in thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. (Also ROMANS 9:17).
So you see, there is no way these scriptures are in harmony. Only if the true name of YHWH is restored to its rightful place. In the stead of the pagan name 'Jesus'. There are many more scriptures than these, too many, in fact, to list here; however, they are listed in the Bible. Study to show yourself approved a workman worthy..! We proclaim one name as given to the disciples and early assembly on the Day of Pentecost. The only Name that was prophesied in the Old Blood Covenant that will be restored in the last days, the Name of יהוה. Not jesus, or any "shua" name such as yeshua, yahshua etc. Take His Name in baptism as Peter preached in Acts chapter 2.
Malachi 1:11 "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith יהוה of hosts."
